Designing Eye Catching Brochures
The look and feel of the brochure is what captures the eye of the consumer.... but more importantly is what it says. The copy in the brochure has to give the message you want to communicate in an easy to follow format. Knowing what the goal of the brochure is; sign up now, spa features, get people to the website....etc, is the most important. Next is determining how your going to get it out there; door to door; direct mail, personal.

Importance of Color with Branding
Ryan Fleming
Ever successful business has a color set branding in place. Usually keeping the amount of colors between 1-4. The colors are coded like the paint swatches in your local hardware store, except computer graphics are designed in two ways: print or web. RGB ( red-green-blue) is the color system used in web and CMYK (cyan-magenta-yellow-black) which is used for print.
We all know the hue of red the cola giant uses.. and I don't even need to mention the name.... They use this to create familiarity in their product with us, the consumer.. and it works.
They use color to create emotion and brand recognition in the consumers mind. Our perception of color is based on multiple factors; season, demographics, situation...etc... This all can play an important part in how we feel about a brand. A color such as BLACK (R:0 G:0 B:0) gives a sophisticated, high end look and to most gives the perception of luxury, sports cars, and even fear.
So when choosing a color palette for your logo and branding keep all this in mind.
